Account Manager

Media Intercept is looking for an Account Manager to build deep relationships with our existing advertisers, driving retention and account growth. The Account Manager works with clients from a variety of industries on the strategy and execution of their media campaigns. In addition to providing clients with day-to-day guidance on best practices across all media, the Account Manager will lead in the creation of sales proposals, onboarding new advertisers and serve as the client’s primary point of contact to ensure the success of the campaigns and help drive renewals. This candidate can be remote but must be located in the United States.

What you’ll do:

Assist in the management of day-to-day communication with the client and vendors as it relates to reporting on performance, recommendations, execution, and reconciliation of media plans.

Identify and recommend relevant media opportunities for current clients both within budget as well as upsell opportunities.

Provide internal stakeholders with high-level visibility across campaigns to ensure accurate expectations are set.

Identify potential client issues and work with the internal team to address.

Join recurring client calls to provide updates on campaign status.

Maintain and support process alignment across project management system.

Monitor creative development and production.

Work with the editorial team to provide updates on content changes and needs, and align on priorities across accounts.

Manage implementation of media management tools and software.

Support in the creation of team documentation and process collaboration, as well as client-facing resources.

Prepare sales proposals.

Assist Sales with Lead Generation.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2 to 3 years of account management experience, preferably tied to marketing

  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and operational skills specifically related to media planning/buying

  • Project management skills; ability to establish and adhere to roles, responsibilities, and actionable timelines for all deliverables

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact with all levels of internal management, clients, and team members

  • In-depth understanding of campaign tracking and creative trafficking

  • Experience working with major industry tools and channels: Programmatic platforms, Google Analytics, Facebook/Instagram, Google AdWords, 3rd party ad servers

  • Must be organized and detail-oriented

  • Sense of urgency in responding promptly to all client and internal requests

  • Proven experience supporting multi-dimensional, highly complex projects
